The boys are back in the studio after being on-site at the Avalon airshow so it’s time to run through some recent news items.

  • Former Qantas and Australian Airlines Chief Executive, James Strong, dies at age 68
  • The Tiger Airways/Virgin Australia deal is further stalled by the ACCC
  • CASA considering changes to the Civil Aviation Regulations to facilitate UAV operations, and it’s based on weight
  • Qantas considering purchasing 747-400F freighters
  • Qantas profit increases partly on the back of 787 compensation from Boeing
