  • Qantas flew an A330 (VH-EBP) from Sydney to Adelaide & back on a 50/50 blend of jet fuel & used cooking oil
  • Qantas confirms that they’ll be the only airline in the world paying carbon taxes in three jurisdictions (Australia, New Zealand & Europe)
  • Qantas’ first A380 (VH-OQA – “Nancy Bird Walton”) has returned to the sky on its first flight test following a major rebuild since its notorious engine failure during QF32 over Indonesia about 16 months ago
