The boys have managed to align their clocks with the Geeks and for this episode, they’re appearing live to provide an in-person OzDesk. Of course, the news is almost all Qantas…
- The 250th Boeing airframe for Qantas has been delivered but it’s actually the 251st.
- The first 787 for Jetstar under construction and it’s got 9 abreast seating.
- With the inclusion of this new 787, it’s the first time that one of each Boeing seven-series aircraft will have been on the Australian register, from 707 through 787.
In closing banter with the Geeks, Grant notes that maybe next week’s segment will have the news about the 9% of Virgin Australia stock that was traded recently, with Air New Zealand only accounting for 3%. Who purchased the extra 6% and, perhaps more importantly, who was selling their shares?
